This system is so easy to fit and works perfectly to keep the birds out. This will not stop small birds, i.e.; Sparrows This 160mm solar panel guard pack offers a great lightweight alternative to mesh systems. Manufactured with high quality stainless steel adjustable pins on a UV stabilised plastic base. The 160mm pins are fully adjustable to suit all tile types and the plastic base can be easily cut down to size with snips or heavy-duty cutters. We offer options both with the adhesive and without the adhesive. No drilling is required to the solar panels and hence spikes are a recommended option for control of pigeons without voiding any manufacturer’s warranty. Each spikes/pin is 16cm/160mm Installation of the spikes Clean area, paying particular attention to the area of spike attachment. Apply a 1cm bead along the entire length of the spike. Press the spike firmly and evenly onto the side lip of the panel. The user should see glue rivets formed through the drill holes on the spike. Pay particular attention to corners and roof brackets as these will be considered weak points within the system. If necessary trim spikes down using a suitable pair of cutters to match tiles. Allow adhesive to cure before removal of access equipment.
